St John's & King's Park Church
House Groups


Part of our vision here at St John's is to grow big and small both at the same time. We want our services and influence across the town to grow big because Jesus calls us to reach out to all people everywhere (Matthew 28:18-20).

We also want to grow small, because the individual matters.

House groups provide a place for everyone in the Church to connect with others in a small group setting. House groups are places that enable people to meet, pray, learn and grow deeper together.

In the Bible we see that the early Church followed this same pattern of big meetings and small meetings (see Acts 2:46 and Acts 20:20).

There are currently 5 house groups at this time, meeting fortnightly,

Alpha Groups


An Alpha course of 12 weeks duration - an introduction to Christianity (every September)

Guild


The Guild is a highly active organisation, open to all.

Meetings usually take place on Thursdays in the afternoon or in the evening (alternating), approximately every fortnight.
